Patients and families in need of a hospice house must now leave Rowan County and hope there is a bed available in a neighboring county. The dream of a free-standing Hospice House for Rowan County started more than 30 years ago with a group of volunteers who were determined to bring hospice services to our community. Today the dream for a Hospice House is finally coming true. The Rowan Hospice House will provide this care - here at home - when it is needed most.
